Connect your own domain

Use a domain you own instead of only your canna.sx address.

Before starting

Custom domains require Premium and access to the DNS settings at your domain provider. A subdomain such as links.example.com is usually the easiest choice.

Add the domain

  1. 1Open Dashboard → Customize → Custom domains.
  2. 2Enter the domain without https:// or a path.
  3. 3Press Add domain.
  4. 4The page shows a routing record and a TXT verification record.
  5. 5Open the DNS manager at the company where your domain is managed.
  6. 6Create both records exactly as shown.
  7. 7Return to canna.sx and press the verification button.

Wait for DNS

DNS updates are not always instant. They can take a few minutes and, in uncommon cases, much longer. Keep both records in place after the domain becomes live.

Important

A verification TXT record proves ownership but does not route the website by itself. You also need the CNAME or A record shown in the dashboard.
