Protect your account with two-factor authentication
Add an authenticator code and save recovery codes.
Turn on two-factor authentication
- 1Open Dashboard → Settings → Security.
- 2Enter your current password.
- 3Start the two-factor setup.
- 4Scan the QR code with an authenticator app.
- 5Enter the six-digit code from the app.
- 6Finish setup and save every recovery code somewhere private.
Important
Recovery codes are shown once. Do not send them to anyone, including someone claiming to be staff.
Use a recovery code
If you lose the authenticator app, enter one unused recovery code during login. Each code works only once.
Regenerate codes
Regenerating recovery codes makes the old set invalid. Save the new set before leaving the page.
