Use gradients, overlays, and motion
Add a gradient background, tint or blur a background, and animate how the page appears.
Gradient background
The gradient blends your background color into the second color. It shows when you have no image or video background, and behind a 3D scene.
- 1Open Dashboard → Customize and find Background effects.
- 2Turn on Gradient background.
- 3Pick the second color and drag the angle slider.
- 4Watch the preview swatch update.
- 5Save changes.
Overlay an image or video background
- 1Choose an overlay color.
- 2Drag Overlay strength to tint the media.
- 3Drag Background blur to soften it behind your content.
- 4Save changes.
Helpful tip
- • A light overlay or a little blur makes text far easier to read over a busy image or video.
Entrance and link motion
Page entrance animation controls how the page reveals after the splash (fade, slide up, zoom, or blur in). Link hover animation controls how buttons react to the pointer (lift, glow, scale, or slide). These are Premium options and respect reduced-motion settings.
Important
These effects are Premium. Keep motion subtle so the page stays comfortable to read.
